Our ability to create Sporting Chances relies entirely on voluntary work. Whether by funding or offers to host and facilitate Sporting Chances, each Sporting Chance is financed by past donations or support given by those involved making the necessary arrangements. This crucial support helps us to keep costs to a minimum. Anyone receiving a Sporting Chance only pays the cost of their own insurance and personal day-to-day expenses. Everything else is paid by the charity.
We have links with educational establishments throughout Britain, with Rotary International, Carers Trust, sports governing bodies, The Army Benevolent Fund, The Red Cross, Age UK and many other groups, in order to help create Sporting Chances.
There are also opportunities for corporate sponsorship of Sporting Chances, as these are often linked with major sporting events and personalities, or well-known recreational facilities. We welcome any funding contributions and we would be delighted if you would like to help in other ways or fundraise for us.
Nominations need to be made by organisations, for example charities, schools or businesses. Anyone from an organisation can nominate an individual or a group of individuals for a Sporting Chance and if you would like to nominate someone, or find out more about the charity, please get in touch.
Your organisation can offer time, facilities, tickets, corporate sponsorship or anything else that will help us create more life-changing experiences by Giving A Sporting Chance.
If you would like to find out more about the charity, ask a question about nominating or offering facilities, or for anything else, please contact in touch with a general enquiry. We would love to hear from you.
